Mahindra XUV.e8 (Electric XUV700)

The Mahindra XUV.e8, more popularly referred to as the XEV 7e, is an all-electric SUV based on the XUV700 platform, and is expected to come to India in July 2025. The vehicle have, Level 2 ADAS, and a dual-tone treatment for the interior.

he battery capacity is probably somewhere near the 80 kWh mark, with a range of about 400-450 km in question. The electric model is expected to sport spacious interiors and high-tech features similar to the gas-based model, which would include a three-row seating layout and a big touchscreen infotainment system. Expected Price: ₹30 lakh – ₹35 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Electric BE.05:

This electric SUV is expected to be launched around October 2025. The BE.05 is likely to be a sporty, coupe-like SUV designed on Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO electric platform. It will be available in two battery pack options, approximately 60 kWh and 80 kWh, with both Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations likely to be offered. From 450 km, the expected range. Expected Price: ₹20 lakh- ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Electric Thar.e:

The absolutely electrifying take on the ultimate off-roader is the Thar.e, which is expected to hit the market around March 2026. In a 5-door layout, it is presented as a concept and will also be based on the INGLO platform. Mahindra also intends to retain the mythic off-road capabilities of the Thars, while offering a modern, greener powertrain to the buyers. It might have a battery pack of about 60-80 kWh and then likely provide a range of approximately 400 km. Expected Price: ₹20 lakh – ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Electric XUV 3XO EV:

The recent launch of the ICE XUV 3XO will be accompanied by the electric version due in June 2025. The tiny electric SUV will take the place of the current XUV400, as it is meant to serve as a horse for rivaling the Tata Nexon EV. It is expected to have a battery pack of around 35 kWh, aimed at a range of 250-350 km. Expected Price: ₹15 lakh – ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra Electric BE.07

This is slated to be a mid-sized electric SUV, the BE.07, which is expected around October 2026. It will use the INGLO platform and is expected to provide a large interior space and a considerable range of around 450 km with an 80 kWh battery pack. There will be both RWD and AWD options. Expected Price: ₹25 lakh – ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • Battery Options: 60kWh and 80kWh, with WLTP-certified range of up to 450km.

  • Performance: RWD models could offer up to 285PS, while AWD models could reach up to 394PS. 
  • Design: Harrier-sized sloping roofline for an athletic appearance. 
  • Interior: Integrated display across the dashboard , featuring three screens, and panoramic sunroof, ADAS , and OTA updates. 
  • Dimensions: 4565mm length, 1900mm width, and 1660mm height, with a wheelbase of 2775mm. 
  • Seating: up to seven passengers

Mahindra Electric Bolero.e & Scorpio.e:

Mahindra intends to launch the electric versions of extremely rugged and famous Bolero and Scorpio SUVs as well. The Bolero.e could see a launch sometime around mid-2027 and could get either a 60 kWh or an 80 kWh battery option rated at over 300 km and 430 km range respectively. The Scorpio.e is anticipated to arrive in early 2028, sharing the platform and battery options with Bolero.e and Thar.e.
